Curiosities of the cinema: Part II

The circus

By Charles Chaplin

On our second part of the serie "curiosities of the cinema" we have a classic of cinema history, Charles Chaplin.
On this film published in 1928 we can see the kind of film Chaplin was used to produce in black and white.
But something more calls our attention, on a scene we can see a woman holding what looks like a cell phone. That's impossible because on 1928 cell phones didn't exist, but who knows? Maybe she is a time traveller.

Here I leave you an image about the topic today:

You keep on being suspicious? No problem, here you have the complet scene where you can see perfectly what I am talking about:

Curiosities of the cinema: Part I

The Godfather

By Francis Ford Coppola

Did you know that...?
On the famous trilogy, each time that a person died, on the scene before, it appeared an orange.
The writters of the plot had never answered to this myth. They say that the oranges are a resource. Just for giving colour to the dark scenes.
This misterous coincidence will be with us all our life and no one will resolve it. Was it an indicator  for death? Was it a colourfull resource?
Here we can see some examples of this:

On this image taken from The Godfather III we can see how Don Vito Corleone is with his grand son. On the right hand of the image we can see an orange. Nextly on the scene Don Vito is shot.

Here we can see a brief summary about the mistery:

Our opinion:
This movie is a grat plot inside a history context. We like it because   the story of both snipers
beyond the main plot is base on historical sources , specially we like the story of Vassili Zaitsev
because its incredible how just one person could kill so much enemys with a sniper.
